Article 1 Purpose

  1. These terms govern the Hankyu Ferry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Company’) and the Funet member registration based on the Funet reservation service terms (hereinafter referred to as ‘Funet Reservation Member Terms’), outlining the basic matters regarding the Hankyu Ferry Point Service ‘Funepo’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘this program’) provided to Funet reservation members.
  2. For matters not specified in these terms regarding this program, the Funet Reservation Member Terms will apply.

Article 2 Scope of Application of Hankyu Ferry Point Service ‘Funepo’

  1. Points will be awarded and used only by the registered representative on the My Page. Eligibility applies only when using the Hankyu Ferry Net Reservation Service and making advance payments for fares and fees with a credit card designated by the Company (same as the card payment in Article 1, Section 4 of the Funet Reservation Member Terms). Reservations made by phone or at the counter will not be eligible. Points will be awarded within 14 days after boarding.
  2. 1 point equals 1 yen, and you can use a minimum of 10 points towards your boarding fee in a single payment.
  3. The validity period for regular points is 3 years from the boarding date (calculated monthly), and points that exceed this period will automatically expire. The validity period for other points may vary depending on promotions and campaigns.
  4. When using points, the points closest to expiration will be consumed automatically.
  5. If you cancel or change a reservation using points, the points used will generally be returned, and cash refunds will not be provided. Additionally, if a Funet reservation member makes changes after booking, points will be awarded based on the revised amount.
  6. You can check the number of points earned, history, and validity period on 【My Page TOP, Point History, Point Validity】.

Article 3 Point Awarding

  1. The Company will award points when Funet reservation members use the Hankyu Ferry official website ‘https://www.han9f.co.jp/‘ to utilize the Hankyu Ferry Net Reservation Service and make advance payments for fares and fees with a credit card designated by the Company (same as the card payment in Article 1, Section 4 of the Funet Reservation Member Terms), or in other cases deemed appropriate by the Company. Payments made in cash, at the counter with a card, with travel agency coupons, ship tickets, shipping exchange vouchers, points, or usage coupons will not be eligible for full point awards. However, if the additional amount for the advance payment card payment (including partial point usage) is paid in cash or by card at the counter, points will be awarded. Awarded points can be checked through the designated method (My Page).
  2. The point awarding rate and other conditions for awarding points will be determined by the Company and announced to Funet reservation members on the designated site within the Company’s official website. Additionally, the awarding rate and validity period may vary depending on member rank and the specific transaction.
  3. Points will be awarded after a certain period defined by the Company (within 14 days after boarding) following the completion of the eligible transaction. If a cancellation of the eligible transaction is confirmed, points will not be awarded, and if there are changes to the transaction amount, points will be awarded based on the revised amount.
  4. The final decision on whether to award points for a particular transaction, the number of points awarded, and other matters related to point awarding will be made by the Company, and Funet reservation members will comply with this decision.

Article 4 Point Management (Member Rank System)

  1. The Company will notify Funet reservation members of the number of points awarded, the number of points used, and the remaining balance through the method specified by the Company.
  2. If there are any doubts regarding the number of points in the previous section, the Funet reservation member must contact the Company immediately and explain the reason.
  3. The final decision regarding the number of points in the first section will be made by the Company, and Funet reservation members will comply with this decision.
  4. In this program, based on the usage achievements of Funet reservation members, five member ranks are established: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, with increased point redemption rates for each member rank.
  5. The member ranks are as follows.

    *If the member (representative) does not board, the redemption rate will be 50% as stated above. The amount reflected in the usage achievement will also be 50% of the payment amount.

  6. The maintenance and demotion of member ranks in Section 5 will be applied based on ‘usage achievements over one year (January 1 to December 31)’ for ‘the following year (April 1 of the following year to March 31 of the year after next).
  7. The targets for usage achievements in Sections 5 and 6 are as follows.
    • (1) When making advance card payments (same as described in Section 3 of card payments).
    • (2) When the additional amount for advance card payments (same as described in Section 3 of card payments) is paid in cash or by card at the counter.
    • (3) Payments made by any other method than (1) and (2) will not be eligible for usage achievements.
  8. Regarding the promotion of member ranks in Section 5, members will be promoted immediately upon meeting the conditions even within a year, and the new member rank will be applied early.

Article 5 Point Consolidation and Prohibition of Multiple Registrations

  1. Funet reservation members may not transfer or pledge their points to other Funet reservation members, nor may they share points among members.
  2. A single Funet reservation member is prohibited from making multiple registrations. Additionally, if multiple registrations are made for any reason, the points held cannot be consolidated.

Article 6 Cancellation and Expiration of Points

  1. If the Company determines that there are grounds for canceling points awarded after a cancellation of the eligible transaction or other reasons deemed appropriate by the Company, the Company may cancel the points awarded for the eligible transaction.
  2. If the Company determines that a Funet reservation member falls under any of the following, the Company may cancel some or all of the points held by the Funet reservation member without notifying them.
    • (1) If there is illegal or fraudulent activity.
    • (2) If there is a violation of these terms, the Funet Reservation Member Terms, or any other regulations or guidelines established by the Company.
    • (3) If the Company determines that it is appropriate to cancel points awarded to the Funet reservation member for any other reason.
  3. If a Funet reservation member does not use their points within the validity period, the points will automatically expire.
  4. Except in cases where the Company is at fault, the Company will not provide any compensation for canceled or expired points and will bear no responsibility.

Article 7 Use of Points in Payments

  1. Funet reservation members can use their points at the redemption rate set by the Company for payments made through credit card advance payments on the Hankyu Ferry official website’s Hankyu Ferry Net Reservation Service (same as the card payment in Article 1, Section 4 of the Funet Reservation Member Terms).
  2. The Company may restrict the services eligible for point usage in Section 1 or impose conditions on point usage.
  3. If a Funet reservation member cancels a payment made using points in Section 1, the points used for that payment will generally be returned, and cash refunds will not be provided. However, if due to administrative circumstances the return of points is not possible, the equivalent amount of points used for the payment may be refunded in cash from the services eligible for point usage.
  4. If a Funet reservation member uses points for the full payment of a transaction and the payment amount is subsequently reduced for any reason, points will be refunded in accordance with the previous section.
  5. If a Funet reservation member uses points for part of the payment and the payment amount is subsequently reduced for any reason, the refund will first be made for the card payment amount, and if there is still a shortfall, points will be refunded for that shortfall in accordance with Section 3.
  6. If a Funet reservation member uses points for a payment and the payment amount is increased for any reason afterward, the member must pay the additional amount using another payment method.

Article 8 Incidents

For transactions subject to payment in Article 7, except in cases of cancellations due to natural disasters like typhoons or accidents for which the Company is responsible, the Company will bear no responsibility and will not provide refunds for points.

Article 9 Cancellation of Points After Use

If a Funet reservation member uses points for payment in Section 7 and those points are canceled under Section 6, Section 1 or Section 2, the transaction subject to points (hereinafter referred to as ‘Point Transaction’) may be canceled or put on hold. If the Funet reservation member has already executed the point transaction or is attempting to do so, they must immediately pay the shortfall resulting from the point cancellation in cash or by the payment method designated by the Company.

Article 10 No Cash Redemption

Funet reservation members cannot redeem points for cash under any circumstances.

Article 11 Use by Third Parties

  1. Points can only be used by the Funet reservation member themselves, and cannot be used by any third party.
  2. The Company will consider the use of points to be by the Funet reservation member if the login ID and password entered during point usage match those registered, regardless of whether it was unauthorized use by a third party. The Company will not refund points used in this manner and will bear no responsibility for any damages incurred by the Funet reservation member.

Article 12 Taxes and Fees

In the event that taxes or additional fees arise from acquiring or using points, the Funet reservation member shall bear these costs.

Article 13 Loss or Suspension of Funet Reservation Member Status

If a Funet reservation member loses their membership status, they will lose all points held and any rights related to the use of this program, and will not acquire any claims against the Company due to the loss of status.

Article 14 Disclaimer

The Company will make every effort to operate this program based on the current level of technology, but does not guarantee that no issues will occur. The Company bears no responsibility for disruptions, delays, or interruptions in the system due to communication line or computer failures, issues related to point usage, unauthorized access to data, or any other incidents or failures.

Article 15 Changes to This Program

The Company may revise these terms without prior notice to Funet reservation members for operational reasons, and may change the content of these terms, the program, or the conditions for providing the program (including but not limited to the abolition of points, suspension of point awarding, changes to services eligible for point awarding or usage, or changes to point awarding rates or usage rates), or may terminate or suspend the program. Funet reservation members agree to this in advance. However, when the Company terminates, changes, or suspends the program, it will provide information to Funet reservation members in an appropriate manner, considering the impact and operational status of the program.

Article 16 Governing Law and Exclusive Jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute arising from the use of this program that cannot be resolved between the parties, it shall be resolved in the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s Kyushu headquarters in accordance with Japanese law.
